Ok so I am home on leave and have been for the last month and two weeks, my boyfriend and I went away the weekend that I got home, I was supposed to start my period three and a half weeks ago, seems really confusing huh? So I have taken three home test, and it says no. Does any one know how far along you have to be to tell? I am only twenty two and scared to death.

Hey there. The home pregnancy tests you took which gave you a negative are most likely accurate, considering your period is three and a half weeks late. Some hpts, like first response, are able to pick up on the pregnancy hormone 5 days before your missed period. Typically, a hpt will be accurate the day you miss your period.

I think you should call your doctor and rule out reasons why your period hasn't come yet. It could be stress or an underlying health condition. Good luck to you.

You wouldnt have stomach pain caused by pregnancy this soon. I wouldn't worry about it too much right now. Wait to see if you have your period.
