Q: Pain In Right Side For More Than a Day

Hi everyone. Not sure where I should be posting this, but since I am ttc I thought I would post it here.

Has anyone ever experienced sharp pains during ovulation on one side only? Last night I noticed some severe pains on my right side... No its not my appendix, as I had that removed when I was a child. I thought that they would be gone away by this morning, however they are still there and seem to be getting stronger. I thought that it may be my bowels acting up, however it doesn't appear to be that as they have been emptied many times today. I am very gassy as well.

If anyone has any suggestions for me that would be greatly appreciated.

**baby dust to all ttc**

Anyone?
Anyone? I would appreciate a reply. The pain has now moved to the left side. I am guessing that its just my ovaries. However I am just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

Well I have never had pains with ovulation but what you said reminded me something else.

Kidney stones. They will hurt like the devil in your side.

sorry if I sound ignorant, but I thought with kidney stones you get pain mainly in your lower back.

I have heard of some people who actually feel pain when they ovulate. My old roommate in college was one of them. She said that she always had sharp pains in her sides at certain times of the month and her doctor had told her that she was one of the lucky few who can feel when they are ovulating.
