If anyone has experienced the following please let me know the outcome:

2 weeks ago I had a slight spotting and went for a early scan and the sac and baby was there but couldnt detect a heartbeat which at that time I was around 4/5 weeks gone, I was advised to go back for a 2nd scan which is tomorrow to see the progress,i have been spotting on and off for the past 2 weeks, I am really worried what the outcome is going to be tomorrow, please let me know any views on this?

Look forward to hearing from anybody

I really don't know, but good luck anyway - hope it all goes well. They couldn't find a heartbeat with my youngest brother but he is fine! And that was at about 12 weeks (he's always been difficult) so if they can "miss it" at 12 i'm sure they can at 4/5 weeks. :)

Hey
Hey, just relax, I had the same thing happen @ 6 wks and @ 9 weeks. Its never to be taken lightly, but sometimes it happens due to different reasons. Sometimes its due to a sensitive cervix (which was my case). So just keep your faith up, eveything can still be ok, just dont ever let it pass as nothing when it does happen. Just monitor it, make sure it doesnt turn to bright red, or have any tissue or cramping. Goodluck, I hope everything is alright. :) let me know how it goes...

Thanks to both of you for your replies, I have the 2nd scan tomorrow morning so I will post and let you know how it all goes, hoping for the best.
Also I have some fluttering last night it was like a little butterfly in my belly,is this normal at early pregnancy?

Thanks again.
