If a man is doing drugs and gets someone pregnant, can the drugs use or any part of drugs be passed on to the unborn baby, or can the baby only be affected if the mom ingests drugs or alcohol. My daughters boyfriend does drugs and was at the time my daughter got pregnant, but my daughter doesn't. She said the baby would only show drugs if she did them during her pregnancy. Help!

There have been studies that have indicated that yes it is possible for a childs genetics to be 'changed' due to the father being intoxicated or on drugs when the child is conceived. Hope that helps.
