It was posted to help everyone who comes here wanting to know whether or not the symptoms that they are displaying could possibly be pregnancy.

You should wait until you have missed your period to take an hpt. I understand that testing while you are bleeding will not give you an accurate result, though, so it wouldn't do you much good now.

The proper wording when your actually preganant and start to bleed is either "implantion bleeding" or just "bleeding" or "spotting". You cannot have a period because that would mean you ovulated and are shedding your lining which both in pregnancy does not happen.
