it's one of those nonesense things my mother says- some of which she doesn't know the meaning of herself- i've got hundreds of them.
She says she got them from her mum, who didn't know what they meant either. So these sayings are just going though the generations, but nobody's sure what the hell they are saying.
Mum says her mum used to say (lets say the kids keep asking her when dinner will be ready) "i'm going as fast as I can, I can't put my head under it"
it's a mystery.
