Hello, symptoms actually start once the embryo has implanted in your lining. This usually takes place on average at 9dpo but can happen anywhere between 5-12 dpo. Once the embryo has implanted it will start to release hcg (pregnancy hormone) into your body and thus causing pregnancy symptoms. Good luck!
