Hi guys!! I've got a doctor's appt today!! I can't wait to go there, hopefully she'll tell me that i'm dilated and in her opinion i'll shoot out the m&m in a couple of days or something. I am tired of being pregnant. It sucks. Yesterday at work my leg gave out and I almost fell. I'm getting too big for this working crap but I can't go out on leave until the m&m comes because I only get four weeks. :(

anyhoo, where's .Gen? I missed her yesterday. Gen, are you alright? You didn't catch a cold or anything did you? Let me know you're okay.

Did I tell you guys that i'm now in a "race" with my sil to see whose baby's gonna come first?

I am around, I was just having an emotional day yesterday, I also didn't pass my glucose test. So now I have to go and take the three hour. Ack.

You will have to come back and give us a report on your dr's appt today. I hope you get some good news. Your not due until the 24th right? I hear you about your job. I sit all day long and by the end of the day my hips are killing me. Its horrible. Try to be careful while working. I don't really know what it is that you do. What do you do?

Have a good appointment. Are you getting checked, as in dialation?
Yay!!! Let us know.

I'm not sure what the appt will entail exactly but i'm assuming that there's going to be a pelvic since i'm so close to edd.

Whoa! I just went back and read that.. Hey don't worry, there's a lot of nonmedical reasons that you could have failed your glucose test. I didn't have to take a fasting glucose test and my doc warned me not to eat a lot of carbs the day of or when I drank the glucose syrup I would fail. Don't worry .Gen, it's probably something small like that.

I hadn't eaten since the night before's dinner at like 6.30pm. I didnt' have time to eat or drink (other than water) before my appointment. We were in a rush to get there. Anyway....I am sure it will be fine but it just started a bad day. But everything is better now. Did you go to your appt?

I take my test at my next appt. I made it for 8:30 in the morning so that I don't have to worry about getting hungry before I go. Lol. She just told me not to eat or drink anything but water (and the test drink, of course) after midnight.

Lol sandra, I know. My first one, they didn't tell me I needed to drink all the water... So I ended up having to chug it right before. It was sooooo bad!

Yeah that is what they told me. I didn't eat or drink anything but water. But oh well. I didnt' pass by 3 points. Its hard enough for me to get off of work for an hour appt. Much less a 3 hour test that will more than likely come back negitive.

Grrrr

Gosh tigresacnela24, you only get 4 weeks off for maternity leave, I thought it was 6 weeks, don't you have vacation pay coming, won't the dr write you a note asking for another 2 weeks off, a male must have made that law up, you are not having a c-section are you, even natural your body and that baby needs that extra time, are you nursing, have someone bring the baby to work and on your brake nurse and at lunch. Heck, 4 weeks is horrible! I am no dr but did you have pain in the leg before it almost went out or in the back, it could be that the baby is laying on your sciatica nerve but generally you have paaain before that and like I said, I am no Dr. Maybe your dr would write you a note saying that you cannot work for a while and then when they fire you then you can draw your unemployment. Hopefully soon.
I have had those tests before and I could not hold it either, I feel sorry for you, I learned not to laugh then.

I am so burning up mad about my doctor's visit yesterday. She didn't even due a pelvic even though she did one last week. I'm just ready to cry bcos she acts like i'm going to be pregnant forever and I really can't even stand to think about another week of coming in to work everyday with the way that I feel let alone another two weeks. I mean how does she know I haven't progressed if she wouldn't even check me? I hate this sh*t. I'd quit my job if I could but I know that I can't. I just want to go home and cry. I can't even use my sick days cuz I need them for my four weeks leave. This really blows. I seriously need a break and the weekends aren't cutting it. It's like i'm even more tired every monday than I was on friday bcos I spend my weekend dreading the coming monday when I have to get up and get ready for work! I'll do it bcos I don't have a choice but i'm so tired of it.

Sounds like you need a hug. I am so sorry love. Maybe if you do a lot of walking (easier said then done I know.) and maybe hubby and you can have a little party in bed for the next few nights to try to get the little skoot to come out. I wish that I could help comfort you in some way, {{{{hugs}}}}

Thanks ladies!! I feel a little bit better now... This last little bit is just extremely frustrating and i'm such a worrier!! Plus i'm tired, cranky and sore. I'm trying really hard not to let the hormones get to me. But it seems like this last trimester is the hardest one of all. I don't remember being this crappy the first two trimesters and I was nauseous and dizzy all the time. Oh well, it will be over soon (even if it feels like a life sentence) but I am really really mad about not getting the pelvic.
I want her to check it out bcuz i've been leaking gallons of fluid all week, I lost that mucus plug thing, i've been having what feels like period cramps and I wanted to see if I was any closer to him coming.

Girl it sounds to me like you're in early labor!!!!

The day I had .Kayoni I expelled tons of mucus like discharge..None of it was bloody or pink and it felt like I was having period cramps...Which progressively got worse and closer together.

I would track your cramps...It might be time!!! I'm so excited!!!! I wish me and .Kayoni could be there to help you get through the labor....

Just remember...It only gets soo bad...Then you start to push. And the pushing doesn't hurt as bad as you might think!! Before you know it, his head will be hanging out and you only have to push one more time!! Remeber to take each contraction as it comes and relax in between!! You can do it girl!!!

You make it so easy. I wish I was going to be able to have a vag delivery, but since I don't have that option, there isn't any good in wishing.
