What do you do? Just curious. Regardless, I don't think any of us can really tell you that. You should talk to your doctor/midwife. He/she knows best how your body can handle things.

i think you can work as much as you want up to your th month, providing there is no complications or orders from the doctor for you not to be working. If you are at a register I would ask if you can sit down and have someone run for you so you don't have to be running around all the time. (i use to work at arby's and we did this for a girl)

I am going to work until I deliver if at all possible. I may go out at 36 weeks because I am having an amnio done at this time to make sure she is fully developed and I will deliver at 38 weeks. The amnio may cause leaking. If it does I can't do a lot of strenuous activities and will have to stay in bed until I do deliver because the hole will seal it's self up if I stay still and in bed.

I have a seditary job but I could go out of work and someone working on their feet my work the whole time. It depends on the person and the pregnancy

gen, seriously, if you don't have to don't do it. It's absolutely miserable when you get this far. Doing the most basic things feels like running in a marathon. Plus everyone keeps telling me to walk but if I walk I cramp then I have contractions. Totally sucks.

Yeah I see what you mean. It's hard for me just to get to work now and I only have 10 more weeks to go. I am very large, everyone keeps telling me that I am going to go earlier than 38 weeks. But knowing my luck I won't, but because of health reasons the doctor doesnt' want me to go into labor. We will have to see.

I am having hubby problems again. I have lost like6 lbs over the weekend because the stress that all of this is causing me to throw up everything I eat. I have called my doctor and she said that since I am going in tomorrow for a visit...She said to eat and try not to throw up my food if I can help it. And we will see what we need to do.

I'm sorry you guys are having problems again. It's stressful enough just being pregnant and working but it's even worse when you have relationship issues. I hope everything gets better for you on that front. Having a day or two of vomiting won't hurt the baby as long as you keep enough fluid in you to keep from being dehydrated. Keep trying to eat and try to at least keep your prenatal down. Take a girl night tonight and try to relax (easier said than done, trust me I know). Bubble bath and warm milk with honey.

I am soo sick of my job right now it's driving me insane especially the return to work after four weeks thing. That is really making me want to cry. I don't know what to do about it. I want to have time to rest and recuperate and to actually get to know my son. Four weeks isn't enough time, I won't even be able to put him in a day care. Babies can't go into daycare until six weeks.... I'm trying really hard not to stress about this but it's hard so I know where you're coming from with the being stressed thing. I'm starting to get depressed. I'm gonna take my own girl's night advice...

That sounds wonderful.....I want to take a girls night but it won't be taking a bath. We only have 2 standup showers. (isnt' that weird????) I didn't realize it until like 6 weeks after we bought the house. Maybe i'll try to give my feet the well deserved clip and polish and maybe put some highlights in my hair. Something. Or maybe i'll sit on the toilet and shave my legs. They need it greatly. I am beginning to look like the shaggy dog. Ack.

Work is ok....It's just the days that I get major harassing phone calls that bug the hell out of me. I just want to yell at these wemon who have back pain and want to be out of work....I just want to tell them to try being preggers but the doc won't write us out of work because we have back pain because it isn't a warrented disability because of the pregnancy. But these wemon want to be out of work because of some little back pain. I know that they are out for like a slipped disc or ddd or something but I feel like I have it all sometimes.

Ok....Venting over. Taking a few deep breaths to regain my sinces. Innnnnnnnnn/ooooouuuuuuuttttt. Better now

lol that's how I feel when ppl come into my office and whine about their light bulbs. It's like they want to sue bcuz I didn't have the maintenance team upstairs two minutes after they called with a new light bulb. I want to start screaming at them. That's not a real problem!! Try being 9 mos pregnant, coming to work every single day and listening to bull crap like yours!!! Aaaahhhhh!! Venting is soooo cleansing. Good idea .Gen. I actually feel a smidgeon better. The in/out thing had me smiling, tho... breathe from your chakras!!! Ooooohhhhhmmmmm!!!

Why can't you work past 24-26 weeks? That's just over halfway.
