I am on depo-provera and I have not had my period since I started it in march. Now I know that they say that after a period of time most women no longer get their period but is it normal to lose yur period right away? Also, I have several signs of pregnancy and I went to my doctors and the test came out negative. Is it possible that I could be pregnant anyway?

Depo almost always causes women to stop thier period. I had one shot and did not have a cycle for 6 months... I could not handle the shot. I usualy strongly urge women especialy if they ever want to have children to not have the shot.. It is nasty. One shot can cause infertility for at least a year.

Your not pregnat the shot will stop you from bleeding.I had got the shot after I had one of my kids and was on it for over 5 years and I had no bleeding with it some will bleed for months and some will not bleed at all.. Mary23w1dw#4boy shawn 16w5d to go
