Q: Last Month Sleep Concerns

Now this may just be a case of crash and burn but just to be sure I figured i'd ask and see if anyone else had/is having the same thing.

Last night when I got home I felt pretty normal (that is to say tired) but around 5:30 last night I fell dead asleep on my couch. I woke up around seven and made a little bed on the floor and fell asleep there until about 5:30 this morning. I got up played around on the internet for a little while (probably half an hour) and then fell asleep again until 10 am. I made breakfast and went to lay down and watch tv, around 11 am I fell asleep again and am just now waking up. I wondered if it's the m&m making me sleep like this now for some reason, if I just crashed and burned since I haven't really been sleeping well, or if it could possibly be cause for concern. Sleeping so much is not something that i've ever done before...

Tigres, it is hard growing a baby! Your body is worn out. Sleep if you can, as much as you want. Soon you'll be taking care of a newborn and that is tiring too - but in a different way. And very worth it! ;)

My grandma used to say the spreadin around of sleep/lack of before birth is just a preparation for baby cause its going to be the same thing when hes here, you sleep when he sleeps...

Btw enjoy the napping I havent slept since I had either of them and I still have 18 years to go lol!!

Okay, it's nice to have my theory on this confirmed. I figured I was probably just overtired but I wanted to make sure since i've never, ever slept that much before in my life. But I guess nine straight months of being tired is a little bit different than just 3 or 4 days of it. Thanks ladies, I won't worry about it now.

Jess, I thought about the whole not sleeping through the night thing the other day. Believe me that is my worst nightmare. I'm praying that my m&m will be a laid back baby and sleep for at least 4 hour stretches. wishful thinking I know. But i'm gonna send you some of my sleepy time from yesterday.

~* sleep *~ you can have six of my hours since I slept about 18 total in the past two days!

Tigres, enjoy your sleep while you can! When I was as far along as you I could not sleep. I was dead tired, but I just couldn't sleep for the life of me! So I was worried once the baby was here i'd be so tired I wouldn't hear her at night!! But all is good, and she's now sleeping 10-12 hours a night w/o waking up! She just turned 2 months yesterday, and has been sleeping great....So it is possible you'll get a laid back baby!!!

.P.S cereal does wonders!

Amen to that sister. I can't wait to have this baby either. I need a break from working everyday and being pregnant. It's really hard in the last few weeks. I can do it but i'm sick of it. I know that the baby will be tiring too but at least it won't require the same sheer physical effort that it requires to get to work and work a full 8 hour day. Plus i'm so sick of john q. Public right now I could scream!!!
