Hi! I am a young teen girl. Recently I
have been experiencing joint aches. Sharp
pain that last a couple seconds. It seems
when I am exercising or running I don't
notice it as much. My arms are extremely
tired but I did lift heavy weights
yesterday, my great grandma has lupus and
when I wake up my hands are swollen but im
not sure if it is because I sleep with one
of my hands under the pillow. Somedays im
tired even if I sleep enough.
I grind/clench my teeth at night but I
know that cant cause my muscle and joint
pains im really worried, also I learned
that the pipes I use at my house are
corroded so im wondering if I could have
lead poisoning but I dont have loss of
concentration or anything
my joint pains come sporadicly about 1
every 30 mins I guess either my foot ankle
fingers wrist or something else, a sharp
pain. Today I woke up witha headache
feeling lethargic.
So overall I was wondering what kind of
joint pains people with lupus experience
and how it feels cause mine hurt :(

Hi there! I am no Dr. My suggestion
would be to go to the dr and get some
tests done, it could be a lot of other
things such as arthritis, carpal tunnel,
over doing it so go to the dr and let him
know your concerns and let him know what
is going on and go from there.
Keep in touch and let us know what the dr
says and maybe someone else here might be
able to give you more info.

Today the pains arent too bad but my knees
feel tired.

Im doin a little better but my hands are
still swollen.:( cry!!! :(
i toldmy mom about my joint aches and how
I thought it could be lead poisoning and
she said
oh quit imagining it!!!
