I'm ...confused, This Could Be Really Bad. Posted: 05-13-06 22:47pm
Okay, so first off--i am an exchange
student living in russia.
Second off--i have a boyfriend here, who I
met and we have been together since i've
been in the country for 10 months. I'm
going home to america in 3 weeks and then
going back to russia to live with him.
Okay so, about 3 or 4 days before my last
period (it was about...1 and a half weeks
ago), we had sex, and I let him come
inside of me, i've never done that before.
But, I am on birth control (orthonovum
1/35) and have been on it for a little
over a year, I think.
Alright so, everything went well and I had
my period after that--it was like 3 or 4
days after we had sex.
I've been extremely paranoid--can I get
pregnant if i'm on the pill and that
happens? And can I still have my period
because it was so close before it?
Okay so now, about 2 weeks after almost--i
have been feeling sick. I had a headache
and a small temperature, and this morning
I found that in the shower, the left side
of where my leg meets my vagina is
sore--like, I guess in the area where my
uterus would be. What is it??? What
could it be?
Could I be pregnant? Is it safe for that
to happen on birth control? I've never
missed a pill and have taken it perfectly
for as long as i've been on it.
I'm in russia, it's scary. Help
please.....

That is what birth control is for = sex
and preventing pregnancy. You are not
pregnant. Relax.

Now come on ladies......I know that
hundreds of babies were conceived while
the mother was taking bc pills. It is
poss. But instead of freaking out and
worrying about it....Chill and wait til
your actually late before you freak. And
if your so concerned..Then have him wear
protection also.

I saw alot of post saying o well ur on
birth control u arent pregnant. Dont
think to highly of that it is very much
possible to get pregnant on birth control.
Im not sure in your case tho and I highly
doubt it but just to let it be known yes
you can get pregnant on bc.

you can get pregnant on birth
control. However, 3 days before your
period and not ever having missed a period
makes it incredibly unlikely.
If you continue to have pains, please see
a doctor. And remember, just because
something is possible, doesn't mean it is
going to happen.
