Okay, so first off--i am an exchange student living in russia.

Second off--i have a boyfriend here, who I met and we have been together since i've been in the country for 10 months. I'm going home to america in 3 weeks and then going back to russia to live with him.

Okay so, about 3 or 4 days before my last period (it was about...1 and a half weeks ago), we had sex, and I let him come inside of me, i've never done that before. But, I am on birth control (orthonovum 1/35) and have been on it for a little over a year, I think.

Alright so, everything went well and I had my period after that--it was like 3 or 4 days after we had sex.

I've been extremely paranoid--can I get pregnant if i'm on the pill and that happens? And can I still have my period because it was so close before it?

Okay so now, about 2 weeks after almost--i have been feeling sick. I had a headache and a small temperature, and this morning I found that in the shower, the left side of where my leg meets my vagina is sore--like, I guess in the area where my uterus would be. What is it??? What could it be?

Could I be pregnant? Is it safe for that to happen on birth control? I've never missed a pill and have taken it perfectly for as long as i've been on it.

I'm in russia, it's scary. Help please.....

That is what birth control is for = sex and preventing pregnancy. You are not pregnant. Relax.

you can get pregnant on birth control. However, 3 days before your period and not ever having missed a period makes it incredibly unlikely.

If you continue to have pains, please see a doctor. And remember, just because something is possible, doesn't mean it is going to happen.
