Today ireland is 2 months old. The last couple months have gone by in a blur but have been totally amazing. I am looking forward to starting her on solid foods, breastfeeding is a pain, and she's such a big baby that she's hungry a lot.

Friday night a friend slept over with her baby so we took some pictures:

Hey .Kimmeh...Is she starting to be fun?? Like giggling and respoding to you trying to make her laugh??

My baby will be a month this .Saturday and she's been lifting her head since about 8 days old. I make sure my hand is there so it doesn't just flop over... Should I let her? When she gets mad she rolls herself over from her belly to her back...I'm scared she's gonna pull a muscle!!!.

You angel is beautiful!! It must be awesome to have another baby so close in age that she can play with!! .Kayoni's only friends are a year and a half!! Lol..She'll prob be taggin along with em in a year!!

wow she's rolling that's amazing, ireland isn't doing that yet, but she's been able to lift her head since the day she was born, I let her but I made sure that I kept a hand near by at first, now it flops once in a while but not enough or hard enough (i think) to worry. She smiles all the time and has since about a month, in the last 2 weeks or so I *think* she is trying to laugh but i'm not 100% that, that's what she is doing. Lol. But she loovees when I make faces at her, and she "talks" all the time. I think i'm going to have a chatter box in my hands ina few years.

well I told my grandma about her rolling over and lifting her head so soon and she told me that both of my uncles did that early as well. Within the 1st week of life. She said that's just a sign of their strength.

She makes a month this saturday and she's already eating 3oz, as apposed to 2. Her .Dr suggests 2oz every 4 hours and sugar water in between. But the 2oz just doesn't cut it for her. She wails as soon as she starts sucking air!! So I added an oz. And she's been so content.
She gained a lb. In a week and the .Dr got pissed saying that they should only gain 8oz per week. Well she was 2 weeks early and very small so I personally think she;s trying to catch up!!! What do you think about this??

I'm not sure. I breastfeed so I am not really sure how much ireland gets. She got her shots yesterday and they weighed and measured her their and she was average (and she has a perfect head  ). I don't think i'd let my baby be hungry though, so i'd probably do the same thing.

God I really wish I could've breastfed!!!! She had .Jaundice really bad within her 1st week and her .Dr forced me to stop breastfeeding due to the hormones in the breastmilk preventing her .Jaundice from going away. Everyday I tried to make her latch on, and she did, but my breast wasn't giving her as much as the bottle was and she was throwing a fit!!! It was sooo frustrating and I coudn't bare to see her be hungry and not have that hunger fufilled!! When she was frustrated, she wouldn't cooperate to latching on. So I gave in now she takes soy formula. I was going to start pumping and rented the .Medela pump but I found that when I wasn't feeding her, I was pumping. I have soo many things to do that pumping was taking over my life and my house was racking up with junk!!!

I threw a hissy fit because I couldn't breastfeed, it makes me feel like less of a mother. So I am the only on who can feed her her milk. Just as it would be if I were breastfeeding. I'm all about the skin to skin contact while feeding so she knows who she's getting her meals from!!!
