Q: 35 Weeks Dilated 3 Centmeters On the Outside Cervix Is Soft

Got a question im 35 weeks prego and I had my cervix checked today do to alot of strong contractions and crampiness the doctor said im dilated 3 centmeters on the outside on the inside im not but cervix is soft he said thats a good thing but im a bit confused does this mean I should expect to go soon

I dont know what u mean by being dialated on the outside and not the inside.... If u dont mind me asking what kind of cervix do u have..?? Your either dialated or not I never herd of what you are talking about.

Doctor said its happens with women who have had a child before, I looked it up on some websites just means the cervix is getting ready

I'm exactly in your boat. I just got back from the doctor and they told me the same thang! I've been looking on internet to see what they mean but i still have no idea either.
