well adoption is another
choice love. Someone is trying to not
make you go through that pain in abortion.
I would say that to you if you said I am
pregnant I would not advise you to
abort.
I give everyone who
comes to me all of their options but I
don't sugar coat any of them, especially
adoption.

adoption is not a
good solution for the birth mother and
there is no gaurantee that it is a good

Adoption is only an option if you do not
want to become a parent. It is not an option
if you don't even want to stay pregnant.

you are much
more likely to be rendered infertile by
carrying a pregnancy to term and giving
birth than you are from having an
abortion. 11 times more likely, in
fact. abortion is the safest
medical procedure that a woman can choose
to undergo in industrialized nations.
Childbirth is more likely to cause long
lasting medical problems for women than an
abortion.

you're in the wrong

oh, I know. I hear,
"how would you have liked it if your
mother had chosen an abortion?" all the
time and I just have to look at them like
they are off of their meds because if my
mother had chosen an abortion, i wouldn't care,
know, feel, think, or anything else about
it. Abortions occur before
sentience so I would have never existed
which means I would have never developed
feelings about abortion one way or
another. Since I was born after roe, my
mother had every opportunity to choose,
for herself, an abortion. In fact,
because of roe, griswold and eisenstadt,
my mother was able to plan for me. She was
ready financially,
emotionally, and relationship wise to have
me. My mother is the most prochoice
person I know and has lived her life
accordingly.
And, since my mother did live a life
before I or my brother came along (she was
28 when I was born), she can
imagine very clearly what her life would
have been like without me or my brother.
The fact that she .C.H.O.S.E to sacrifice all
of those opportunities because she was
ready to do so is awe inspiring and a good
example for me. I want to live life and
build a life before I try to have a family
dependent upon me for survival. I want
to look back on my decision to have
children, like my mother does, as the
right decision to make and not one that I
regret.

Exactly!! Like if my thirteen yr old
daughter told me she was pregnant one day.
I would have a heart attack! But no1
should convince their 13yr old daughter
that having a baby at that age is
acceptable. I mean its pretty obvious who
is going to look after the baby whilst she
is at school.
Yes fair enough some handle it. But the
majority dont. And its not fair to
convince her to keep it, when she will
find out how hard it is to look after a
baby afterwards! It wouldnt be fair on
her to only tell her only keeping
it/adoption is the only options. You cant
decide the life of someone, you can help
her with her decision. But eliminateing
abortion isnt right. She could resent the
baby for the rest of its life, and always
hate you cause you never allowed her the
option of abortion. Thats why I hate
pro-life. If its your body then you can
decide what to do with it.
However if my child just couldnt handle
the baby, I would give it up for adoption.
Its a wierd though, its my baby having a
baby. Thirteen is just too young. Im not
saying I would force abortion on my child,
but I would let her have it as an
option.
uh... What? I can understand abusive
content, but lolbahaha is pro-choice, so
she does belong here... Who did this,
tazzy?

Im late but to remove choice from anyone
is the equivalent of taking away their
freedom..
We are given choice yet with a good choice
come good things with a bad choice comes
consequences..
Abortion needs to be legal would you
rather have 2 people die due to having an
illegal abortion done underground or just
one?? You make the choice
if a person is so so prolife then they
cherish both mother and childs life in
this case you just contradict yourselves!!

So true. It needs to be legal everywhere
cause you hear about women, trying to
d.I.Y an abortion, throwing themselves
down the stairs, etc. It can leave to two
lives being lost, maybe more if its a
multiple pregnancy. I just cant see how
someone can be pro-life.

i would say that many of the pro-lifers
probably have kids who are out of school
and are busy with them.

hate. What an awful word. You know I
don't believe that lifers are women haters
any more than you or I are baby haters. I
think we all just have different
priorities. My priority is what is best
for the woman. Theirs is what they feel
is best for the fetus. Neither side is
showing hate. In fact both sides show
great love. We just can't agree on who is
more deserving, the woman or the fetus.

Gosh, I did not know which one to post
this on. I very much agree with you most
of the time and their are those who hate
everything and everyone and blah, blah,
blah. I pretty much took the word hate
out of my vocabulary years ago as it is
digusting and rude and all it does is is
to upset yourself inside and makes you
feel totally miserable.
All the best!

I sure was not cherry88. You should know
better then that by now! I just lok at
each situation and in the long run it is
the pregnant female's choice along with
the family but if asked I will give my
opinion but will let her know that it has
nothing to do with the final answer and I
will give her my options along with the
Dr.

This all started from whatsherface
boo-hooing about me calling the pro-lifers
haters. I was just repeating
what they call us. I still dont get what
the big deal is.
