Very Confused And Worried???
Posted: 05-16-06 18:05pm

I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow. I had this same problem a while back but not that bad, and now it happen again last night me and my hubby got in to it, when he went to clean him self he says I have blood , so then I get up and check my self and sure enough, I had blood to. I sat on the toilet for a couple of minutes to see if I would bleed, when I got up blood came down my leg (sorry to many details) it was like if I had a light period no pain or anything. I called the hospital where im going to have my baby and told them. The nurse told me if I didnt have any pains not to worry about it??But iam a little worried because a cant tell, iam having like some cramping but it goes away nothing very bad. Do you girls think i'll be going in to labor any time soon?? The bleeding stoped now all I have is like brown discharge it's kinda thick. Could it be my mucus plug how do u tell if is old blood or my mucus plug. Iam very confused and worried, what should I do go to the emergency or wait for my doctor appointment wich is friday. Any toughts will be very helpful...

Not knowing anything about this stuff, my instinct would be to say that if you're worried, go to the er. Better to be safe than sorry, you know?

I hope everything turns out ok. I'm sure you're fine!

Chances are your husband was bumping up against your cervix which is changing a lot right now. He probably irritated it, causing you to bleed.

If the bleeding has stopped, don't worry about it. If you bleed more, you should go get checked. But from what you said, you should be fine until your appointment on friday.

You are late in pregnancy, there will be a lot of changes going on now (not all of them pleasant).

Good luck!

Yeah my doc. Told me that a little bleeding after intercourse is ok. Its nothing really to worry about unless there are clots in the blood. Bloody show is normal tho. If it really concerns you tho disscuss it with your doctor.
