I've been taking ortho tricyclen lo for
about a year now and have never had a
problem with it.
Right now, I have about 8 of the active
pills to go and..I'm spotting (it just
started tonight).
Is this normal? One day last week I took
a pill about an hour late. Also, I
haven't had sex since a week before my
last period (which was normal)...And even
then there was a condom. I have been more
stressed than normal lately, I don't know
if that has anything to do with it...And I
ran for the first time in months today.
Please help, I am freaking out...Is
spotting normal? Does it just mean I
maybe need to see my doc to switch pills?
Or could it mean something else? Ahhhhh.

Hmm, well i'd say it might be normal...
Bleeding inbetween periods is simply
"spotting" or "breakthrough bleeding"
which is completly normal...
I'm sure its not a big problem, but of
course, if you are still worried... You
should see your doctor about it, or even
call a pharmaist or your birth control
help line...
Taking the pill one hour late will not
matter in this either.. So don't worry
about that.
Just relax... Call a pharmasist or make
an appointment with your doctor.
