Why am I feeling forgetful and confused? Is this depression Posted: 05-19-06 07:32am
My symptoms are as follow: I get this
weird feeling throughout my body, my arms
and legs feel weak at times but not enough
to collapse. From my cheeks down to my
chin feel a bit numb, my ears feel
plugged. I suffer from constant
headaches, which I am being treated for
Migraine. It's feel like the world around
me just isn't right. I seem to get lost
in a long conversation. A bit forgetful
and confused at times. Someone could ask
me a question and it's like it takes a few
minutes to get it to my brain and to
respond, these symptoms seem to come and
go. I was told that maybe I am suffering
from depression as it runs in my family.
But my life and my job couldn't be any
better. Could this be anxiety rather than
depression?
Anxiety and depression often run together.
You can ask for expert help from a mental
health professional (psychologist,
psychiatrist, licensed therapist) to
determine and diagnose your real
condition. Confusion, forgetfulness, and
losing track of a long conversation are
not typical for either anxiety or
depression.
