Hiya.

I need some advice about me and my boyfriend. Me and him had sex sunday 14th and we didnt use anything. We did it a few times during the night. I was on bcp pills but I stopped them about 2/3 weeks ago. Because they were messing around with my periods. Well recently ive been bleeding, quite heavy too. Its not my period because I had that about a week ago. I have been having it for about 2 days now and its really red and loads of it. I have had a few clots but im not worrying about them at the moment. I just want to know is there a change I could be pregnant? I know its early too tell and I have done a test and it came back negative.

Me and my boyfriend arent talking at the moment because we keep arguing over that night and he cheated on me while I was seeing him. We have been going out for about 4/5 months now and we didnt plan on sleeping together, it just happend.

Is there anything I should do, keep away from etc? Im new to all this so im pretty nervous. Im 18 and my boyfriend is nearly 21.

First off, you should always wear condom during sex - especially if your boyfriend is not faithful to you! Second, you should go to the doctor. More than likely the hormones from the birth control are affecting your system still and causing you to bleed. However, it could be something else. Go see a doctor.

Just some advice: if your boyfriend isn't faithful, why are you with him?

Thanks for your replies both of you. Can I get pregnant in a week though? Because it's only been a week. I know I should of never quit my pills but I forgot to take them and now I have lost them.

I have a doctors appt on monday so going to see my doctor then.

Im pretty sure its unlikely to get pregnant a week after getting of the b-control pill ,yet every woman is different. Its possible when you abruptly got of the pill it messed with your system ( wich the pills do because its hormones ) and is making you bleed , then again it could be a miscariage and you could have been pregnant ,but I think it would have been the very early stages of a pregnancy so a test would not be able to detect a pregnancy just yet. Second, I would not stay with your boyfriend if he cheats on you, you dont deserve that. Always use a condom and also stay on your b-control so you dont get a std or anything like that. Hey.

Thanks for the reply prettypink. My bleeding is slowing down now thankfully. I've split up with my boyfriend. So dont need to worry about him anymore and if I am pregnant i'm going to keep the baby and not let him see it.

I think it's unlikely I am pregnant at the moment because it's only been a week nearly and you can't get pregnant in a week because of everything that needs to happen. But I will do a test in a few weeks if I feel strange or anything.

One of my friends was on the pill and she would have sex and a couple days later start bleeding but it wasn't her period. She went to the doctor because she was young and didn't want her parents to find out. The doctor told her you can have that happen sometimes but I would go to the doctor just to be safe. And if this guy really cared about you he would not have cheated on you. Good luck and I hope he doesn't try to come back or you try to take him back obviously he isn't anything good for you. Go for it, if anything you can buy another one. I have got tested a couple of times and usually I buy atleast two or three just to make sure because they aren't always accurate. Good luck best wishes!!! :d

Im glad to here you split with you boyfriend. You dont deserve to be treated like that. Im glad the bleeding slowed down. Birth control plays around with your hormones. As for the pregnancy test, when should you be expecting your period? It might not be accurate if you test to many days before your period. Good luck !

i don't know when my period is due. I last had it 5th may so I suppose the 2nd june. Im still bleeding a bit but not much. Should I test or not? Ive done 2 tests already but its bugging me now.

Just to update you. I have stopped bleeding but I have a lot of discharge. I haven't done anymore tests yet. Whens the best time to test now?

Wait until the a couple of days right before your period is suppose to start. Like 2-4 days before depending which test you have just read the insturctions and it should say how many days.

Nope I never said that. I said I was bleeding but wasnt my period. I had my period the 5th may. I had sex the 14th may!

Hey.

How are you all? Im ok except I have started to feel very sick. It started last night and im ok at the moment but dont feel good. I have been having loads of discharge and weeing. I think its to early but what's going on? Are these signs or am I being paraniod?
