1cm Dilated And 50% Effaced Posted: 05-22-06 15:06pm
Hello everyone, I just got back from the
doctor and she told me I am 1centimeter
dialated and 50% effaced. She said she
does not think I will go into labor this
week but she cannot predict past that.
Does this mean I will have the baby soon?
My due date isnt until 6/11. This is my
second baby and I did not dialate early
with my first pregnancy at all.

I had my baby 2 1/2 weeks before her
estimated due date. She was due on may 7
and came on april 22. Though she was
smaller than she would've been, she was
perfectly healthy. She weighed 6lbs 8oz.
She made a month today and now weighs
8lbs. 6oz!! She's definately a heffer!!
Your angel will be fine!! If you want to
keep her in a little longer, avoid
strenious things like sex and lifting
heavy things.
Are you getting an .Epidural or going drug
free? I went drug free and she's my 1st.
It was the best experience of my life!!
I can't wait to see your angel!!
Good .Luck!

I am definitely having an epidural! I had
one the first ime as well. Call me a
chicken, I know but I dont really have a
high tolerance for pain. I am getting
axious because I didnt do this with the
first pregnancy. I know each one is
different but it's making me a little
nervous.
