I'm a 14 year old girl, and recently I
discovered a small pea-sized lump under my
left nipple. My breasts are most likely
not fully developed and I have not started
my period yet. If I manipulate it with my
fingers it moves around, and its not
painful. I know chances of cancer are
slim, but i'm a little scared. My family
has no history of breast cancer, or I
don't think any sort of cancer at all, not
that I know of. I'd rather not go to the
doctor or tell my mom, but I will if I
have to. It's just sort of embarrassing,
I guess, but my health is more important.
I've head of "adolescent nodules" but i'm
not really sure what those are but I know
they are lumps under the nipple and they
do go away naturally. I hope that's what
I have.
