My husband and I have been planning a trip to universal studios for months now. We are going this weekend but I found out today that i'm pregnant! Can I still ride roller coasters or anything? I have heard all different things and just need to know. I don't want to hurt my baby. Thank you!

Yeah I know! The ob doc here me on the phone that i'd be ok since I wasn't 12 weeks yet and my uterus isn't out of my pelvic cavity. I don't know if I trust his info. I just wanted to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience... And what their doctor said.

I didn't ask the doctor, but my bf and I were planning to go to disney for valentine's day, but I found out I was pregnant. We canceled the trip.

I'd call another doc to get a second opinion. I wouldn't go on any rides, though... I'd be paranoid.

Sandra, I went to disney world when I was 6 years old and i'm pretty sure I screamed the entire way through the 'it's a small world ride.' it's soo creepy! The snow white ride even made me cry, because I was scared of the evil queen when she turned into a witch... Lol.

I wouldn't take the chance with rollcoasters, or rides that jar you around. Other than that it seems like you would be okay with other rides. There are plenty of them so you can still have a good time. My boyfriend has been there several times he said go to the bettle juice rocknroll show. You will enjoy it!

Have fun and good luck :d

I wouldn't waste my money going if I couldn't ride everything I wanted to, ya know?

There are so many things to do there though, but yeah you have a point too. It would be a hard choice but I would still probably go and enjoy it. I have never been but my boyfriend has been several times and says its a blast. There are so many different things to do.

I know there's stuff to do there, i've been there tons of times. We used to go every christmas. But it's not like going down the street to the fair or something, it's expensive. I guess I just prefer to get my money's worth.

My doctor just told me that at 8 weeks pregnant it was still okay for me to go on rides as long as my stomach could handle it. I also checked with the local midwife and she said that it would be fine but you should avoid the huge mega thrills like skyscraper etc
