Hi all,
i was due on the 21st of may so am about 3
days overdue now, I think I just lost my
mucus plug and was just wondering what
happens now and what should you do once
you have lost it? Does this mean

Don't you think you should have called
your doctor or gone to the hospital?Do you
have any contractions?

Losing your mucus plug doesn't mean
anything. Some women go in to labor
immediately, but most still have to wait
at least 2 weeks. Obviously you won't,
because you're overdue already, but mine
fell out 6 weeks before my daughter was
born. Some women don't lose their mucus
plug until after labor has started.
There's no way of telling when you will go
into labor.

7 weeks, wow. Can't it be dangerous to
not have the mucus plug for that long?
