:?: why would your body produce hormones similar to that of being on birth control pills, when I have not been on the pill or any other type of hormone contraceptive. My husband and I have used the condom/pull out method for the last 4 yrs and it has worked just fine, but now my ob/gyn stated that according to my hormone levels he did not beleive me when I told him I was not on any other type of birth control?

Yeah birth control pills give u the same hormones that pregnancy does. Thats how they work they try to trick ur body into beliving that it is already pregnant that way u cant get pregnant.
You might want to test and see whats up.

The urine test that the dr did came back negative for pregnancy. I have to go back in two weeks for more test. He asked me like 5 times are you sure you are not on birth control pills because your hormone levles indicate that you are. That's why we did the pee in a cup pregnany test which then he stated came back negative. I wasn't sure if there was a nother reason why my hormone levels would be this way.

Hormons
I went to my ob/gyn on advise of my medical Dr. I went to her thinking I had a bladder infection becuase I have been constantly peeing, due to the fact my cycles have been midly irregular as well she sent me to my ob/gyn to see if I had a cyst.
I'm not sure what all test were preformed in his office, I had to pee in a cup, and they also took a small amount of blood from my finger.
I go back in two weeks for some more test. Not sure what type he wants to do more extensive blood work I think
