According to my lmp i'm due on 25th november. My ob worked out that i'm due on the 24th november and I had a scan 3 days ago and that worked out that i'm due on the 20th november. Which date should I go by? I have an appointment with my ob on wednesday so i'm going to ask him then, but I just wanted to ask your opinions and if you got different dates too.....Ta!

Always go by the later date ~ unless your doctor changes it. My scan said I was due a week earlier than my .L.M.P. But my doctor never changed anything. I got my hopes up that I was, in fact, a week further along than I thought and I set my sights on that date. Imagine how utterly devastated I was when I went overdue from my .L.M.P by a week. So, 2 weeks after the scan's estimated due date, I finally had her.

They are called estimated due dates for a reason. It is only an estimate.

Scans are extremely accurate during the first couple of weeks. Lmp is not very accurate because not all women ovluate on the 14th of the month every month. I ovulate on the 18th, so if they gave me a due date by lmp, it would be 4 days too early.
