Sorry el, would have replied to you sooner but the server went down. Thanx!!! Right now I don't feel anything like superwoman though. But it's nice to have someone think that I am.

sarah, I have a pc button on my computer. But I don't think that I have a usb connection wire that will fit the computer. Let me check, no it doesn't look like it. I'll go to radio shack on tuesday and see if they sell one, or more likely i'll check walmart first. If the swelling goes down. Hey, did any of you guys swell up after you had your baby? I'm going to call my doc on tuesday and ask her what to do but my feet, legs and hands are all swollen up like balloons. I was swelling before I left the hospital but they told me it would go down in about a week, not get worse.....

Oh well, I guess i'll find out what's what on tuesday. But if I start to tingle or get dizzy i'm taking my butt to the emergency room.

Swelling is usually from high blood pressure when pregnancy related, usually postpartum u are supposed to loosing all your body water I remeber sweating like mad at night it was disgusting..

Here is some stuff to help you
~drink more than 8 glasses of water (once you drink over 8 glasses your body will actually get ridd of excess)
~stay away from salt/ canned good they are excessive in sodium(aka salt) luncheon meats, canned soups, chips etc
~ keep taking vitamins
~ raise you legs higher than your body everny so often (ex 15 mins 2-3 times a day)

I haven't had that much water cuz the stitches are homicide!!! I pee but I try not to pee too much, you know? But i'll try anything right now. Even eight glasses of *shudder* water. I've been trying to stay off of my feet but my husband is so clueless about some things that it's ridiculous and I have to get up and help him. It's like having two babies. I mean he does help out but the things that I really need him to do he acts retarded about. I'm gonna go no salt and see if it helps. I haven't added any salt to anything but I did have a deli meat sandwich yesterday and a pork sausage the day before. I'll try though cuz i'm having trouble bending anything at all from the thighs down. My knees, ankles, toes, etc... I can't even fit flipflops!!

Did they give you an anelgesic spray??? My hospital gave me a squirt bottle to wash it off and a spray to numb it!!! It also stopped and prevented any infection.

I'm pretty sure you can get it from .Walgreens! It's called "hospital strength 'dermoplast' pain relieving spray." it's a painless no touch spray.

Girl, talk about save my life!!!

I'm glad you decided to tear on your own. I did the same thing. You're less prone to infection when you let your body naturally rip.

Sarah

p.S: you better get getting with the pics of your angel!!!!!!!!!!! I'm soooo anxious to see him!!! Does he have lots of hair?!?!?!??!

He has a head full of hair!!! It's coal black and sticks out everywhere like little porcupine quills. He looks absolutely nothing like me though.... I'm not really even sure that he looks like his daddy, I guess he just looks like himself. Plus he's really red. It's sooo funny... He's a little chunk butt and he looks like the little eskimo on the boxes of north pole brand ice cream!!
