35weeks And 5 Days Almost 2 Cm Dilated And 30% Thined Out Posted: 05-26-06 12:24pm
Ok my midwife says im 35 weeks but I have
had ultrasounds from 8weeks
till I was about 5 months or soo annd
they all said I was two weeks ahead
of my date so I think im reallly 37 weeks
and 5 days.. I am almost 2 cm dilated and
30% thined out.. Will I have him soon ?
Or can I sit at this for a long time ? I
hope someone answers me this time.. I
have left two posts and only one person
answered me on one... I have had so many
ultrasounds cause I had cervical cancer
and had surgary done to remove it ..I also
have a kindney stone that is too big to
move from my kidney..
I hope he comes soon.. Any sugg..??

You can sit at 2cm dilated and 30% effaced
for a long time, sadly. Or, on the other
hand, you could have him tomorrow.
Actually, since the doctor says you aren't
36 weeks yet, they would probably try to
stop your labor. They don't like to
deliver babies before 36 weeks if they can
help it.
Good luck. Enjoy these last few weeks of
peace and quiet. I know that sounds silly
and you want that baby out now, but in a
few weeks you'll be missing pregnancy and
having that child inside you.
What grade cervical cancer did you have?
What surgery did you have to remove it?
Were your lymph nodes clear?

I had it soo long ago I think I had
something called a leep or cone done
i also have been in labor twice once on
st.Pattys day and another just a week ago
both times they gave me that shot to stop
it but the second time it really didnt
work that great he really wanted to come
and they tried to give me a second shot
and they couldnt cause my paulse was up to
162.. But they layed me on my side
finally and the contractions went away but
not for like two hours after they gave me
the shot he really wanted to come lol
