My brother was recently diagnosed with
papilloedema in both eyes, greater in the
left eye. What could this mean? Is
this life-threatening? Can you live with
this? He had some vision changes which
led him to see an opthamologist who gave
him new glasses and this diagnosis. He's
going to see a retinologist to look
further into it later in the week. I've
heard it could be a tumor. Is it
possible to be something else? With a
tumor wouldn't he be acting differently?
He seems otherwise fine, despite his
change in vision. Are any of you living
with this? What are the treatments? Is
this a very concerning condition? I'm
not sure what to think!
