Canstant Feeling of Barfing....????
Posted: 05-27-06 12:10pm

This is actually my first post on this site, but I hope I can get some answers through this page though.

My problem is that I have this sensation in my throat like something is sitting there and sometimes I feel like i'm the verge of puking, but I just gag and my eyes water up. Now unless I stick my finger in my throat, I will only puke up saliva. It's happens from time to time throughout the day. I have no visible lumps on my neck and it doesn't itch or anything, just feelings of puking. I've also noticed a lot of snot accumulation that travels into my throat..

This has been going on for about 2 weeks and i'm really concerned that it might be something I don't wanna know. Like cancer or something.

Excessive Sinus Drainage, Choking, Gagging
Posted: 06-11-06 12:54pm

I have choked and gagged, literally barfing up globs of muceous from my throat. This problem began years ago and my doctor checked for throat problems, acid-reflux, etc. To no avail. It has recently gotten worse after much dental work and beginning root canals. My dentist asked if I realized my upper roots were directly tied to my sinus. I believe chewing food activates my sinus and allows heavy muceous to drain into my throat. It builds up and gags me to choke it up. Does this problem sound similar to others?
