Heart Pain's
Posted: 05-28-06 08:56am

Hi,

my fiancee is 19, he has random pains, on the left side of his chest. He says it feels like its his heart. Sharp pains, if he breath's the pains get worse, but if he stops breathing for about 10 seconds it goes away. He has had this happen randomly every since he was a little boy. Does anyone know what this might be?

I am very concerned about this. And am hoping someone could give some advice on this. Because it happens to him off and on randomly. :?:

thank you for reading and reply's.

I have the same freakin thing! Ever sence I can remeber! I have a hard time moving and if I do move quick it hurts like hell and not breathing seems to help! If I breathe deep...It hurts worst! Normally these 'attacks' are only every here and there...Lately(past four days) its hurts everyday, all day. Or a holy heck a lot for a hour or so each spasm... I thought maybe its a kinda a heart burn so I tried taking that and it did nothing...So thats isnt it...I ask people at work my feincee and anyone who I think might know...( mom went to doc long time ago and the doc could trace it or anything...So there way no anwser for my mother or i!) please if you do find out what it is or what damage it might have later on please do contact me... I have been woundering about this as well...Thank you so much for you time and good luck!]

Thank you so much for replying. My fiancee, said this is pretty much how he feels, it really hurts to breath, and if you stop breathing for a couple of seconds the pain finally will ease off. He has had this problem since he was little, and doesn't know what it is either.

Thank you so much for your reply, if we find out any information I will be sure to let you know.

I don't have it, I was writting on my fiancee's feelings. He has never has any types of injuries he can remember from his childhood. He said this isn't the same type of pain, we looked it up.

Well I have the exact same symptoms as you described with pain during breathing and chest pains which resemble a heart attack.... I was diagnosed with costochondritis by stanford university hospital. The reasons for it are also unknown.

I have the same. I'm 29 and it started a year ago or so.
I have narrowed it down to dehydration. I drink a lot of coffee (and beer) and no water. Until my heart hurts.. Then I drink lots of water and it goes away...
