Should I Be Worried?
Posted: 05-28-06 19:09pm

Since last year I have been having many problems with my colon, cramping, rectal bleeding, diarrhea, constipation, frequent changes in bowel movements. In december I had a colonscopy and my doctor found a small polyp and removed it. For a few months my symptoms went away, but 2 months ago they came back again. The rectal bleeding seems to be just as bad this time around. I'm only 19, I feel tired all the time and am actually starting to become very worried that something else aside from having a polyp removed could be wrong. Has anyone else had these symptoms before? Any input is appreciated!

Well, you being tired comes from your worry for starters. Any stress can lead to appitite loss, triedness. At least you had the colonscopy done earlier; many won't do that sadly out of fear perhaps. See a doctor again since there is still bleeding. Meanwhile eat some of those fiber tablets like fiber choice, but you prob should get another colonscopy just to be sure.
