Need Help! Early Signs of Pregnancy!

Hello! I am so new at this and have some
serious questions to ask. I am 24 years
old and my husband and I are not using
birth control. We had hoped that this
year I would get pregnant. Well, last
weekend I began throwing up and continued
to throw up with nausea all last week (as
well as stomach pains). I am not sick
with the flu and there's no other reason I
can think of to be throwing up. As soon
as I threw up I felt like I was instantly
better and was hungry. Which is weird
because if I had the flu you would think I
wouldn't be hungry. My last period was
two weeks ago, and I am not sure if I am
too early to tell anything. But I just
haven't felt right, and I guess I am
worried and/or anxious. This would be my
first pregnancy so I am new to all this.
I was wondering if any other women out
there had very very very early signs of
pregnancy. I have been itchy as well
which someone else told me is a sign. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you are. I had sickness
also that afterwards I would become hungry
again. Along with breast tenderness.

Thank you for responding, you and nikki
have been my only responses. I want to
take a home pregnancy test but it's too
soon. My health care provider said that
it was too soon to tell, like do it 3 days
before my period is supposed to arrive.
My period will be here I think the week of
the 26th. I had wanted to take a blood
test but then I thought to myself "will
that be able to detect this soon"? So, I
guess I am like hanging out not trying to
worry about it so I won't get myself
worked up or anything. I just didn't
know if anyone had any way early signs of
being pregnant. I do have back pains, and
my stomach still feels not so right. The
throwing up is over (thank the lord), but
my stomach is still bothering me. So, I
guess I am still confused.

Well it looks like we are both in the same
boat. I am having similar symptoms.
I have not thrown up at all but have been
nauseated. This mornig I put some
lipstick on and got it on my teeth...It
made me want to throw up. That is not
normal for me. I have a very strong
stomach. I took a hpt test today but
it came out negative. I think it is
still too early to detect also. I am
supposed to start my period on saturday
which is the 22, so I could probably take
another one in a day or so and get a
better result. I migh just make an
appointment at the doctor for next week
though. Let me know if you hear
anything else.

Well...I def. Know that you can take a
blood test...It doesnt matter how far from
your period you are...I took a blood test
a week and half before I was expecting my
period...And dont worry..I asked my doctor
if a blood test was a sure way to find out
even if im not close to having my
period..And she assured me that a blood
test is totally accurate...Hope that helps

soon as they missed and it was negative so
they waited till they were a month late
and then they finally got a positive.

I am the young lady that started this
topic and I just went and had a blood test
done. It came back negative and I was so
upset! However, the doctor told me
several reasons for this. 1) it still
could be to soon to tell 2) it could be
that I am one of those people that just
doesn't show up on a blood test 3) I
could have had the conception date wrong.
So, there were numerous reasons why I
didn't show up. I am just going to end up
waiting for my period and if it doesn't
come then i'll know I need to go back or
find out what's up. I am hoping for the
best and hoping for my friends to pray for
me as well. But I have had several
friends that didn't show up pregnant on
urine or blood until their period was
missed. Everyone is different

I know its hard and easy for someone who
has only sex twice to ttc and this is her
first month, but a relax body makes for a
happy environment.
I am sure this will be the year for u and
I am expecting all the ups and downs that

It's frustrating because i've known people
who were "fertile mertyle" and other
friends that couldn't conceive over and
over,some because of problems with their
reproductive systems cysts,scaring, etc.
Or lifestyles.
They say that sometimes life isn't
fair....That's an understatement! Hugh
i think this website has been very cool
and people can ask anything they want
without worrying about sounding silly or
whatever.
I hope everyone who wants to be a mom or a
mom again,gets their wish very soon or at
least sometime this year.!!! Talk to you

I don't mean to intrude, but this looks
like a site where people are actually
answering questions. I have one, I
should have started my period on the 13th
it is now the 21st. My breasts hurt to
even think about them or have somebody
look at them if you know what I mean, i'm
tired all the time, I get dizzy spells
more frequently now, I have taken a test
and it came out neg. Is there a
possiblity I might be pregnant?

You could definately be pregnant. When
did you take the test? Was it ablood or
urine test? Some women take a month to
test positive even on a blood test. Buy
an ept. I know a lot of women say fred's
work better but I hate them. Mainly
because they gave me the first negative
and it made me sad. Anyway, babydust!

I think that you should just pay attention
to everything that your feeling. If you
feel that you are pregnant you could be.
I'm pregnant now and my breast have been
killing me for two months. I also took a
urine which came out negative, but I still
felt wierd I ended up taking six of them
and all were negative. Some peoples
hormone levels are just not strong enough.
Finally I insisted on getting a blood
test and it came out positive. By then I
couldn't believe it so the nurse gave me
another urine test, it took seven test for
it to come out positive. So don't rely
on them too much if you continue to feel
wierd stay on top of things. Good luck,
for which ever the outcome may be.

I have a dr's appt on tues. I hope to
find out something then. Thank you for
responding so quickly. I noticed my
sense of smell has increased. I changed
my kitty litter yesterday and walked into
my house today and it seemed like it had
never been changed. Do you think I could
be pysching myself out?

Can the implantation bleeding really be
red? Last month I got my period and it
was only pink for 2 days and brown for 2
days and it wasn't just spotting but it
was still pretty light. I don't think i'm
pregnant (unless I am this month) cause
i've tested last month and then yesterday
and got a negative. Is it possible that I
just produce hcg really slowly?
