Infections?
Posted: 05-29-06 10:21am

My boyfriend and I recently took a bubble bath(to be specific). My period had just ended and actually I had seen a small amt of spotting earlier that day so I assume I was on the last day of my period. He fingered me while in the bath and I am terribly worried that I could get some sort of bacteria infections or any other sort of infection as it was a bubble bath and not just clear running water.
After this occured I went into the shower to rinse off and then had sex. I went to the washroom and noticed that I was in pain while urinating.

Im scared that I could contract infections as I have never gone to the gynecologists or any doctor about getting a physical exam done .

Also, women typically ovulate 14 days prior to starting their next period right?Or was it 14 days after ur last period started?

You might have a u.T.I.(urinary tract infection)or the sex might hve gotten a little rough. Some of the signs are urinatingfrequently, pain while urinating among oyhers about allyou need to do is to give youur fr a sample of your urine and they will check it and if you do have one the dr will prescribe a couple of prescriptions for you. If you feel it is more then have it checked out.
The best of luck to you!

Bubble bath and soap and stuff isnt designed for vaginal use so it's likely it just dried you out a bit, or maybe irritated you a bit cos it can be harsh on sensitive skin like that. I would say this is what was behind the pain you experienced, it's unlikely to be an infection. As far as i'm aware, bubble bath can't cause infections I would only go to a doctor if the problem persists.
