I think you have to wait at least until
your 20 weeks along

I think your doctor decides when you get
an ultrasound and how many you get depends
on your insurance. I only got 1 (i wish I
could have more) and it was at 18 weeks.

Depends on where oyu are from or if you
are high risk or not.
At my hospital we have them automatically
at 12,19 and 32 weeks and I had 2 extra
ones at 5 and 9 weeks because of 2
previous miscarriages.
At 5 weeks, he was a blob, at 9 weeks I
could see a bit more (his shape and stuff)
at 12 weeks I could see him as a person,
19 weeks found out it was a boy and 32
weeks was great, got to see what he'd look
like and he did look like the u/s when he
was born!

I had several of them but that was because
I was high risk. It is all up to your
doctor

Yeah, I think it definately has a lot to
do with your doctor and insurance. I got
my first at 9 weeks (may 5) and i'm having
a second one at 17 weeks (june 29! I'll
see if it's boy or girl!! So excited!)
and the doctor said that i'll prolly have
one more at 25 weeks. But i've heard
that some women only ever get one so I
think that it just totally depends.

Pretty sure it depends on your doctor (how
many they feel you need) I think 2 is the
norm. Anything more requires a special
reason. Also depends on what your
insurance will cover...
