It is more common to have irregular
bleeding (spotting) while using this type
of contraceptive pills (Seasonale) than
others. The irregular bleedings should
decrease in time. The advantage of these
contraceptive pills is that you will have
4 periods per year instead of 12-13 when
using the other types of pills. Perhaps
the bleeding became heavier due to
cessation of the pills 4 days ago. You
can consult your gynecologist and use
additional contraception (condoms) until
the contraceptive pills become reliable.
