Is This Like Your Chest Pain? Posted: 06-04-06 20:48pm
Yesterday all day I had a pain in my
pectrual muscle - just under the collar
bone on the left side. It was like a
pulled muscle pain. When I lifted my arm
up to brush my hair is hurt, when I folded
my arms etc it hurt. As that day went on
the pain went up my neck a bit and also
down my arm and just beside my arm pit.
It didn't really spread across my chest or
make it to the middle it just felt like a
constant pulled or strained muscle pain.
It is better today but still there. I
have experienced chest pain with my
anxiety serveral times but it is not this
type of pain it is more the heavy feeling
when I am anxious.
Yesterday it got so bad I took a xanax and
went and layed down I kept thinking that
heart attacks start in your arm and move
around your shoulders chest etc. The
xanax took my anxious feeling away but the
chest/arm pain remained. So I had no
other symptoms - no racing heart,
dizzyness, breathlessness etc.
I have a 2 year old child and I am
wondering if lifting her in and out of the
car and up and down etc could have pulled
something.
Any ideas? I really would like someone
to tell me what they think
