Hey yall...My baby makes 6 weeks today and I just used the potty and passed a large piece of tissue.

I don't know what to think of it. I'm not running a fever, and I don't have and signs of a fever. I didn't flush it....Do you think I should call my .Dr and ask why I would be passing large pieces of tissue????

I haven't bled in a while...So this is mighty strange!!!
Shouldn't all of the placenta be gone by now??!?!

I'm very observative and I messed with it and it was very very stretchy....Extreemely similar to a piece of placenta!!!! Damnit!!! I'm tired of all this non sense that comes with delivery!!!

I agree just call them up and ask.

I expect they will just say to throw it away but it's best to be on the safe side.

I have heard that it isn't uncommon for such things to happen and very rare that they cause any problems

It shouldn't cause you any problems if it is this late, even if it is placenta as it would probably have already made you ill if it was going to...

Call the doc just to put your mind at rest. How is the gorgeous girl anyway?
