Q: Shoulder Dysplasia ?

I'm sooooo ticked off. My doc thinks that matt (the new nick for the blue m&m, we have to differentiate between him and daddy) has shoulder dysplasia and wants me to take him for an x-ray. I've googled it and can't find anything, everything that comes up is about hip dysplasia. Anyone got a clue what it is, how serious it is and how it's treated?
