Late And Scared Please Help
Posted: 06-05-06 23:10pm

My period is 51 days late. I am very scared that something is seriously wrong. I've taken 5 hpt's and one blood test and they all came back negitive so I don't think i'm pregnant. I had an ultrasound and a pelvic exam done and the doctor said nothing was wrong. I'm not sure what is wrong. My abdomen hurts all the time, I was getting sick in the morning but that stopped, i'm always hungry, I always have to go to the bathroom, and i'm always tired. I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any ideas or anyone go through this before? Could I be pregnant even though I had a negative blood test?

I doubt it. Lots of other things can cause late periods. You need to get your dr to do more tests

Your doctor hasn't given you anything to start your period? You didn't say what your doctor said he thought it was...

You are not pregnant if every test and ultrasound are negative.

Good luck!

My sister-in-law had a false pregnancy once where she was developing like she was pregnant and had all the signs and symptoms, but there was no fetus. They had to perform a medical miscarriage-type procedure to get her body to stop thinking it was pregnant.
