Hehe the only real pink things were her blanket and that pillowcase the sheets were a mauve but I think with all the pink and the lighting it made my sheets look pink too...Hehe. But basically everything she owns is pink...Lol...It's fun having a baby girl...I don't want her to grow up! Lol

No not usually she was just fussy the night before and was up until 1:30 and would only sleep when I was holding her and I had to get up for school in a couple hours so I let her sleep with me for the night. From day one i've had her sleeping in the bassinet beside my bed but she's almost grown out of it...So into the crib in her own room I think in the next month or two :( they grow up so fast.

Haha no not really...My friend put her baby into it though...It's this thing where you pay 45 dollars and they take a couple pictures of her and then send the pictures around to companies and then if they like a baby they request your info and you may have a job...So I am thinking of maybe looking into doing that...Because my friend got a call back...And her baby is cute....But my baby is totally better!! Ahahaha I will show you...

Ireland is obviously cuter..

Bray sleeps with me now and is so spoiled. I can't even put him down without waking up, he'll sleep in his swing when he feels okay, but he's been teething so bad i've had to rock him to sleep everynight and then lay him down with me.

I'm trying to break him of it...And some of my other friends with babies said to let him cry himself to sleep and it's like no way, if he is crying and I can help it & make it better then i'm not going to let him cry.

Aww ireland went through a nightime phase where everynight she wouldn't go to bed untill 1:00-1:30 am...And it was bad because then I had to get up early for school...So I let her cry herself to sleep...The first night it took a while but now she is in bed by 11-11:30 and it's much better. But I understand it's really hard...I had to like completely hold myself back from going in there. If it was just the two of us home all day still it wouldn't have been bad...But with school I cannot afford to miss anymore time, so I had to do something.

Poor bray and the teething...I feel so bad for them...It's nice though they don't remember it once it's over, and hopefully a lot of his teeth will come in at once. I heard the first time is the worst and then the other ones are not so bad...So hopefully that is true.

I feel bad for him too..He'll chew on his fists, whine a little and look at me.

I know how that going to school is, I graduate in a week and then am going to start college to be a coroner. A lot of years ahead of me.

And apart from that ive got 2 jobs. I'm really glad I have chris & my mom because there's no way i'd leave brayden with a babysitter. I'd leave him at a daycare but we had a incident not too long ago where a babysitter was kicking and punching a baby, because it wouldnt stop crying. The parents were susupicious and set up a hidden camera..

That's some crazy stuff!

ahh that's awful...I go to a school for pregnant and parenting girls...And they have a daycare right in the school and because I am breastfeeding I get called down regularily to feed her and I spend all my free time in the room...Plus there is more then one worker and students and staff are always in and out...So I don't think even if they wanted to do something like that they could. I'm pretty lucky...To be able to have her near me.

I'm so happy for you that you get to graduate in a week! I still have another 2 years (i am hoping to make it a year and a half if I try really hard and do classes at home) of high school because when I was in high school I screwed around and got really sick twice in one year (pneumonia and the mono) and then dropped out for a couple months and then got pregnant and went back in september to this school but then I got put on bedrest...Lol...So then I am looking on a couple more years after that for post-secondary.

I don't know how you could possibly handle two jobs, school and a newborn! You're amazing! I barely holding on with a newbord and school...And I am hoping to get funding for being a single parent attending school (about 850 a month) and if I get it, it's totally going to get harder because your barely allowed to miss anytime and you have to pass all your classes.

So yeah I think your amazing...Lol.

it is so hard girl...But when you put your mind to something you really want it's impossible not to be able to do it (for me anyways)

i promised myself when I got pregnant with brayden that I would finish school and give him a wonderful life, and that I am doing!!

Stay in school! Only good things will come of it =)

I know and I will stick with it...But some days i'm just like 'ahh!' and want to quit right then...But i've been in the working world for a couple months...Not much is offered when you dont have your high school diploma and even then most places want more.

Awww dangit maybe I should stay away from this forum its making me want a cute lil one! Hah... Yeah right. I'll settle for babysitting some for now :] hard work enough.

I really respect you all for what you guys do, and are. I really don't think people give mothers enough credit.

Ireland is so beautiful, i'm not in school right now though I should be but I plan on doing correspondant through this summer to get ahead so that maybe i'll graduate after my first term of grade 12 in the fall instead of having to go through the whole year after the baby comes. You are really lucky to have a place that helps teen moms finish school like that, my town is way too small for it, we only have one highschool. And it must be really reassuring to have ireland so close to you so that you always know she is okay.
