Hi everyone... I had my baby boy june 1st at 4:07pm, he was 8lbs 1oz and 20 inches long. Iam so happy he's here. I have a couple of questions how many oz of formula does a newborn drinks?. Iam also breastfeeding how long does he have to stay in each breast? When would he start sleeping through the night? Ok one more... Is it normal for him to poop every time he has a bottle? Sorry so many questions ladies. Iam just a little concern

Ok im not quite exact.. I know every baby is different but when it comes to fomula it should be between 3-6 oz a feeding.. Depending on size and health.. You should really ask your doc on that.. Where as breastfeeding you should really let him decide. He will know when he is finished.. It may be quite sometime before he will sleep through the night.. My son didnt sleep through the night until he was about 8 months old. But then again my little brother who is two years younger slept through the night at 5 months. So it varies.. Congrats on your new miracle.. Take care and enjoy all the time that you do spend with him.. It will go by and you'll miss it!

Congrats! Usually newborns drink maybe 2 oz every couple of hours (not my son though) but if you're breastfeeding you just leave him there, but make sure to start on the opposite breast the next feed. As for sleeping through the night....Who knows? Trey will be 1 in 2 weeks and still does not sleep through the incredibly night!!
