What are your opinions on child modelling? People are always stopping my mother in the street to say how pretty my lil sis is and she is thinking of putting her in for child modelling but what do you think?

How can I make sure my mum doesn't get ripped off from them and do you think she has potential?

She is a very beautiful child. I have to say she is very cute. Your little sister could do pagents but I wouldnt' recomend modeling. Modeling companies are a huge ripoff....And the expectations are so hight it's unbelieveable.

I live in london, uk and we don't have pagents here. I'll probably tell my mum to leave it anyway. She was going to put any money she does make into a trust fund

I don't think i'd do it either. People used to stop my mom for me for al kinds of stuff and she said I was already enough of a snob. Lol I have been stopped twice with trey and given cards, I haven't done it yet but maybe if it was just catalogue stuff, no pagaents if I ever have a daughter though.

I agree! Their are so many times theyare fixed and some of the people and even a few of the kids are pretty stuffy and rude(probably not exactly the right word). There are times that there is just too much pressure shown and then you have to worry about some of the people watching, heck you never know with all of the child molestors and sickos out there. It kind of reminds me of some of the dog shows, some of the people that show the dogs are so nice on the street but they are so different at the dog shows. I always feel sorry for the kids that are pushed into playing all of these sports and do not have the time to ride their bikes and just do kids stuff. I also feel sorry for these children that are put in these hollywood shows, they never get the chance to know what it is like to be a kid, they go to work sometimes very early in the morning and do not get home until late at night and not only do they have normal homework from a tutor but they also have lines to remember, it is horrible for a lot of them!
