My mum was diagnosed with crohns last year
she takes tablets three times a day, she
is feeling alright but she has this pain
in her shoulder which she can't get rid
off its now going to her head and back,
the doctor has said that its to do with
the crohns have any of you experienced
this?

Could be arthritis. Joint pain is
assoisiated with crohns.

Yes, good possibility that it could be
arthritis. Both Crohn's and certain types
of arthritis (spondylarthropies) share
common tissue types. So if you have
certain types of arthritis you are more
prone to getting crohn's and vice versa.
She should see the doctor about this if it
keeps up.
