.I'm home!!!

.I was soo nervous when we got there. My mom &.Chris came with me. I filled out a ton of paperwork, &then the doctor took me to the exam room. She talked to me about pregnancy a bit, asked me lots of questions, predicted my due date &so on &so forth. Then it was time for the exam. So my mom left the room.. I let .Chris stay in there. She stuck that cold metal thing up there &said there was a bit of blood but not too much, &she did a pap smear [nothing to it! I was so scared it would hurt]. Then she did a few more tests, pushed down all over my tummy, examined my breasts, asked a few more questions, &then we were done. She said everything checks out except for the bleeding, so she said they'd do an ultrasound to see what's going on with that.

So she took me, my mom, &.Chris into the ultrasound room &had me depants &position myself on the table thingy. A different doctor came in, &explained that we'd do a trans-vaginal ultrasound [the one where they stick the ultrasound thingy up your vag]. So she inserted it, &showed me where my cervix was, &then she went to my uterus. &there it was. Right in the middle of my uterus. A small little black peanut. My baby! She measured it, &determined that the gestational age is about 5wk1day. So that puts me at about 7wk1day overall. She showed me my ovaries &said they looked just fine. &she took some different angled shots of the gestational sac. I think it really hit me just then. That small little peanut is my child. I couldn't stop smiling. I looked over at my mom, &she was smiling, too. Chris was just looking at the screen in amazement, lol.

We finished up in there, &my doctor saw me once more. She explained that it's still too early to tell whether it's going to be a successful pregnancy or not- but as of right now, everything looks great, &.I may just bleeding because of the sac adjusting itself or something like that. I don't remember her exact words. But she said there's no cause for concern at the moment, &to call if .I had any concerns or questions before my next appointment.

Then .I got my bloodwork done, &a nurse perscribed me with chewable prenatal vitamins.. Y.A.Y!!! Lol, .I can't swallow pills worth crap.

Chris &.I went out for an early dinner, &now here .I am!

So there you have it.
Everything is just fine as of right now.
I'm relieved for the moment.
But it doesn't mean .I'm not going to still worry.

.My next appointment is .July 6th @2:30. I'll have another ultrasound &another checkup &we'll see where .I'm at!

Oh, &she estimated the due date first for .Jan 23rd.. But then judging by the ultrasound, re-estimated for .Feb 5th... I'm not exactly sure, but .I think they may have misunderstood how long my cycle was. I said .I get my period every 27 days for 6 days.. But .I think she thought .I meant my cycle was 27 days long.. So .I'll clear it up next visit.

Ahhh. I'm happy.
I can't believe .I got to see it!

I've just walked into work and checked this straight away. I'm soooo glad everything is ok!!! I'm glad you can relax too now and enjoy your pregnancy!!!!!

Man, after all that poking &proding &ultrasounding.. I am sore everywhere. Icky! Is it normal to be kinda crampy after a pap smear &all that jazz?

I'm still bleeding, by the way.. But .I guess .I'm not worried about it. Because .I saw my little peanut in there.. Soo I dunno! Lol.

It's normal to be all sore and stuff. It's not everyday you get metal stuff shoved up your cooter.

You'll get another ultrasound around your 20th week probably, you think seeing the baby was exciting now..Wait until you see little toes and stuff.

I can't wait 'til its more than just a little peanut!

I'm lucky &get to have another ultrasound in 4 weeks.
Since it's kinda a special situation since .I'm bleeding &all.
They're gonna do another one to make sure everything is still progressing normally &healthy.

I'm really just hoping this bleeding is nothing to worry about.

I don't wanna wait 4 weeks. Lol.

Hahah, lucky. She gets to have hers in .August! I'm not due until january or february! *cry* lol. My mom was like "oh the time will just fly by, .Kristina!" &.I'm like, "yeah mom. January is so close .I can just feel the cold."

.I doubt the bleeding is anything serious, either. My mom did it with me, so. I'm not too worried until .I have reason to be.

I don't remember what her exact words are, but my doctor said it could just be the embryo like, adjusting or something? I don't know. Lol.

I'm sooooooo happy for you, aaaaaah - you have to let us know .E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G, i'm sure you will... =)

i can't stop smiling at the screen - my dad just walked in I think he thinks i'm going nuts, lol!

Of course .I will!

I just woke up &.I am sore absolutely everywhere.
&.I feel quite sick.
Blech.
Mom &.I were supposed to go apply for my medicaid today.
But .I'm taking a rain check &going tomorrow. Lol.

She's right, it will go by faster than you think. I have 12 weeks left, and i'm like, "um... Where did the rest of it go?????"
