Hi there! Great to see a good site where
people can relate to one another! I
noticed some bumps about five weeks ago,
"down there", and decided to help myself
not worry and go to the doc. Well, today
I did and I got some crappy news. I had
like two small genital warts. Well, I bit
the bullet and got them burnt off... Not
that big of a deal! But what I was
wondering, if any of you have had them and
what your experience is once you had them
treated. I just wondered if my fiance
and I need to use condoms forever? Or has
anyone, along with their partner, been
diagnosed and not had any problems?
Basically, in a nut shell... I am just
wondering if they are going to come back
... Often... Or not? I know hpv is
always with you... But just wondered if a
lot of you have experienced reoccuring
symptoms?
Any input would be greatly appreciated! I
am also here to answer any questions some
of you may have... Thx! :)

I am wondering the same thing! I have
not had a recurrence in 2 yrs, so theres
some good news for you! I want to know
how common recurrence is too. I asked my
gyno and she said that if ppl do have
recurrence its usually in the first year.

i also had genital warts down there before
I met my current boyfriend. I didn't get
them burned off but I used this stuff
called viranol and it cleared it up really
fast. I was still worried about whether
they would come back but since ive been on
the viranol I have not had any come back
and my bf has not gotten any either. He
didnt have any before but I just continue
to take the viranol b/c I think it helps
me from giving it to him.
