Erectile Dysfunction...getting Pretty Serious
Posted: 06-07-06 22:39pm

I'm male/20/virgin. I haven't been able to get or keep an erection the past 9 months. Lost my morning erections almost completely. And I think my erections are getting weaker and weaker. It used to be that I could get one but it wouldn't last long. Now it's impossible to get it decently hard when I masturbate. It makes masturbation extremely difficult. I've done all kinds of hormone tests all turned out fine. One doc prescribed 3 pills of viagra. First pill kinda worked second pill worked pretty well although it was still not what it used to be. Third pill didn't work at all...But I was a bit tired that day. So am I simply screwed? I'm very healthy and don't smoke/drink/or have any other negative lifestyle factors. I've been very calm about this since i'm a very rational person. But I think this problem is starting to seriously undermine my confidence with girls and everything else, always conscious of my ed. I don't know how long I can take it like this. I've made an appt to see another doc and will get an appt with a urologist from him...Which might be my last resort. But it's not until july so any suggestions/similar experiences or whatever are welcome.

It was 50mg. It kind of confused me that it worked well the second time and didn't at all the third time.

Thanks. Is erectile dysfunction reversible at all? I mean I don't want to rely on drugs to have sex in the future...

Hello there -

ive had the same problem since I was your age ! Well actually at 19. Im now 28.

What you said is exactly what I experienced. Ive had all type of tests done, things u cant even imagine. Anyway, im sorry but there is no good news.

I was lucky enough to find a partner where sex wasnt everything. Anyway, we have broken up now and im starting to go insane.

Yes I have used viagra etc, but like yourself dont want to use it all the time.

What the doctors said to me was that I had something called venous leaks which is like a burst blood vessel in the penis. The only way of fixing it is to so call seal it by tying the veins together. Though the dr said it is a reoccuring thing which will also leave bumpy scars which I didnt want.

If u want any further info regarding tests etc, please feel free to email me !

Good luck
