Bad News

This is totally unpregnancy related but i'm so scared that I need to talk to someone. A few weeks ago I found a lump in my breast I went to the doctor and he a needle biopsy as she said it looked 'suspicious'. He sent off the results and said not to worry as lots of lumps are non maligant.

Well I was a nervous wreck so my hubby organised a last minute flight to maderia and we kinda forgot about it and had a lovely time- I came back pregnant!

But now my doctor rang my hubby at work half an hour ago saying he couldn't get through to me at home and he needs to see me first thing tomorrow morning concerning the results. My hubby asked if it was good or bad news but he said he couldn't breach patient confidentiality.

I'm terrified! I'm certain it must be bad news. We had hoped that it was a cyst, that the needle would draw out fluid and it would collapse. When this happens, you can bet money that's the end of things. Well, my lump was solid and we've been sweating out the biopsy results.
The suspense of waiting until tomorrow is killing me!

I checked the oher breast and there's no lumps there. I know its normal to have a few lumps that move around inside the breast but this one was different and the doctor was concerned enough to take a sample for tesing. I pray to god its ok. It couldn't come at a worse time. I'm bloomin pregnant for gods sake! If there is a god that is.. Cause at the moment there is not much to convince me

that's one of the best stress relievers. Many people don't cry enough. I'm one of them. When my baby was born and had bad .Jaundice I was the strong one of the 2 of us, a week later, I sat in her room and cried like a baby. God it helped sooo much.

Does breast cancer run in your family? If not, than I wouldn't worry tooooo much about it. Keep your head up love.

Hey beckster, yes, unfortunately any reproductive cancers and breast cancer in the family put you at a higher risk. I am so sorry to hear this...But the good news is they arent the evil kind of lumps. Also, keep in mind early detection is crucial. I pray for you and I can understand your concern ! Good luck
