What will it be coke or water. (got this in an e-mail)

1. In many states (in the usa) the highway patrol carries two gallons of
coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway! After a car accident.

2. You can put a t-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two
days

3. To clean a toilet: pour a can of coca-cola into the toilet bowl and let

the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in
coke removes stains from vitreous china.

4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: rub the bumper with a
rumpled-up piece of reynolds wrap aluminum foil dipped in coca-cola.

5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: pour a can of coca-cola
over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.

6. To loosen a rusted bolt: applying a cloth soaked in coca-cola to the
rusted bolt for several minutes.

7. To bake a moist ham: empty a can of coca-cola into the baking pan, wrap
the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham
is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the coke
for a sumptuous brown gravy.

8. To remove grease from clothes: empty a can of coke into a load of
greasy
clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The coca-cola
will
help loosen grease stains.

9. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

For your info:

1. The active ingredient in coke is phosphoric acid. Its ph is 2.8. It
will
dissolve a nail in about 4 days.

1 phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major
contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.

2 to carry coca-cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use
the hazardous material place cards reserved for highly corrosive
materials.

3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of
their trucks for about 20 years!

Now the question is, would you like a coke or a glass of water?

Atleast I know if I eat some nails, I can get rid of them with coke. Lol.

It's pretty gross when you think about it though. Will stop me from drinking it.

Im a pepsi girl...Wonder if its as bad as coke? I have heard that it's got a different chemical make up.
I used to drink like 4 cans of the stuff a day...Barff. I stoped drinking it and lost 10 pounds without even trying in about 2 months.
Sugar is baaaadd!

But tastes sooooo good!

Hey.. Like 4 days ago I was watching mythbusters with shawn and alot of that stuff isnt true.. It only cleans a battery terminal because its a liquid, water works just as well.... The t-bone steak just falls appart but what would u expect for sitting in liquid for so long? The penny did in fact get chiner but it didnt dissapear.. A tooth got brown and abit smaller, but coke has alot of sugar and sugar causes cavities as we all know so yet again what would u expect? Yes it cleans a chrome bumper better then anything else, but its sticky so I wouldnt use it to do that.. Some things are true but not all of it.. Dont always believe what you hear.. If you want to really find out its true, go buy a case of coke and do some experiments.. Also it wont take oil out of a shirt it just stains the shirt brown. Use oxyclean instead..

Did no one go to the link I posted? It goes along with the original post and says that there is nothing harmful about coke.

apparently not, which is how this crap gets propagated in the first place. ;-)

oooh! Coke is bad! Must be true!

Snopes.Com is the first place I check when I get alarmist, spurious, suspicious forwarded emails like this coke one, which has been circulating the 'net for years now. Urban legends.

actually, I was well aware of the snopes sight. I knew the information wasn't true....I just thought it was funny. I actually collect coke stuff as my dad did before me. My home is filled with it and I actually dont' know what to do with it all. I like coke memorabilia but I really don't like coke too much. I'd rather have a pepsi anyway.
