Q: Breastfeeding Question???

Hi!!! Is me again I have another question. I was breastfeeding and bottlefeeding my baby. Now I have chosen not to breastfeed him no more. How can I stop?. I havent gave the boob in 2 days hoping ill dry up but nothing. Iam in so much pain, my breast feel like their going to explode :cry:

p.S ill post some pics of my baby boy. Iam taking the films to get developed this weekend.

Try cuttin his feeds down your body wont make as much milk an it should be more conftorbal for u as well if u dont mind me askin why are you stoppin breast feeding an how old is your son

I know it is hard to be so engorged. Take a warm shower and express to release some milk in there. You can also wear a sports bra a little tighter than you'd normally wear. The more you feed, the longer your body will produce milk. Your breasts haven't gotten the idea yet that they aren't needed for milk production.

Yep, that's right- but don't express all of it, just enough to make yourself comfortable.

They recommend just replacing one or two feeds per day with formula, until you are no longer producing milk- it's funny though, you might still be able to squeeze out a few drops for months- I can, and I stopped breastfeeding more than 4 months ago!
